Virginia Sellers is the founder and executive director of Virginia Employment Solutions, vaemploymentsolutions.com online and @TheHRSpecialist across social media platforms. After more than 20+ years of experience in the interpretation and application of workforce development programs and services Virginia laughed Virginia Employment Solutions so that job seekers and employees looking for promotional incentives could get personalized attention in executing strategies to achieve their career goals. 

  

Virginia has an array of knowledge in the areas of recruitment and hiring; career coaching and interviewing; employment programs and selection. That includes certifications in resume writing; skill analysis; personality assessments, workplace performance concerns and EEOC complaint investigations. Her tenure with Fairfax County Public Schools, George Mason University and the U.S. Department of the Navy, Civilian Personal Office will collectively benefit her clients in navigating the world of work. Virginia associates, collaborates and or is affiliated with the following organizations: The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP); National Career Development Association (NCDA); and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHIRM). 

 

Virginia also serves her community by utilizing her substance abuse rehabilitation counseling expertise to coach women through addiction 12-step recovery programs. She is civic minded and has served as a board member for the Allied Health and Nursing Partnership and she was an appointed representative to the Small and Minority Business Enterprise Advisory Commission for Fairfax County Government. 

 

Virginia’s commitment to workforce development and community service has prepared her to effectively lead Virginia Employment Solutions and to serve job seekers and employees looking for promotional incentives while tackling the company’s vision to reduce the disparity between opportunity and prosperity.
